Project's history

The Studio13 project was born in 2022 from a "transformation project" in accordance with the federal COVID-19 law in the field of culture.

The Valais Films association, the professional association for audiovisual workers in Valais, has partnered with the City of Sion in the heart of the industrial zone: for nearly two years, the “Taskforce Studio13” has been rolling up its sleeves to transform the former theater into a production studio.

The facility was inaugurated on November 15, 2024, and represents a major new asset for audiovisual production in Valais.
